Distance between them,
Spaces galore.
Words floating around,
Feelings writhing on the floor.
Can't touch their love,
Only feelings reach out.
Sure, they're connected,
But there's still tons of doubt.
No warmth on the skin,
No comforting embrace.
No soft whisper in the ear,
No slight blush on the face.
It couldn't work out,
Too much to deal.
Too bad it ended,
No feelings left to feel.
