Will I ever find that special someone,
Who's meant to be with me.
Who's by my side, through thick and thin.
Who's there to make me happy.

Will there ever be that person,
To wipe away my tears?
To hold me when I'm shaking,
And scare away my fears?

Will this loneliness subside,
Can the pain I've felt over time, hide?
Will this depression go away?
Will the person I love, stay?

Can I ever learn to love again?
Can this broken heart of mine mend?
Will I ever feel wanted, loved and desired?
Or will I be used like a rag. Old, battered and tired.

Can I truly trust anyone?
How can I know?
I'm just so afraid,
I'll be alone for my life.
